CTYM Scholars Making a Visible Difference Through Adopt-A-Highway
Community transformation doesn’t happen by accident—it happens when young leaders decide to take ownership of the spaces they call home.
Through Florida’s Adopt-A-Highway Program, CTYM scholars rolled up their sleeves, suited up in safety vests, and stepped directly into service. This isn’t just litter pick-up. It’s youth learning civic responsibility, environmental stewardship, teamwork, and the power of showing up for their community.
With every bag collected, our scholars demonstrated that leadership begins with contribution. They learned that keeping neighborhoods beautiful and safe is an act of pride, accountability, and unity.
This initiative reflects CTYM’s core belief:
When young people see themselves as change-makers, their communities—and their futures—become brighter.
